UPI QR code questions
Is the UPI QR code generator free?
Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up and has no limit. Your UPI ID, name, amount and remark are used only inside your browser to draw the QR code; they are never sent to or saved on our servers.
Which apps can scan this QR code?
Any UPI app: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, bank apps and more. The QR uses the standard UPI payment link, so the payer's app opens with your name, UPI ID and (if you set them) the amount and remark filled in.
Should I add an amount?
Leave the amount empty for a shop or donation counter, so each customer types what they owe. Add an amount for a fixed price such as an invoice, a class fee or a product. The payer can still see the amount before paying, and bank limits per payment apply.
What is the remark for?
The remark is a short note that travels with the payment (for example "Invoice 1042" or "Yoga class"). It shows in both your and the payer's transaction history, which makes reconciling payments easier. It can be up to 50 characters.
Can I print it for my shop?
Yes. Download the PNG and print it on a sticker, standee or flex banner, or press Print on the page. The QR keeps a clear white border and strong error correction so it scans reliably, even on glossy surfaces.
